The Chase Academy - Innovative Education for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders"

The Chase Academy will accept any student who has been diagnosed with High-functioning Autism or an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This includes Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD-NOS), Asperger's Syndrome, and High-functioning Autism (AS-HFA).

The Academy will not provide diagnosis nor will it provide the individual psychotherapy required by most people with ASD. These are private services provided by the medical industry and are commonly covered by most medical insurance plans.

Parents interested in enrolling a child that meets these requirements in The Chase Academy should complete an application form, and return the form along with copies of the student's written medical evaluations and a conclusive diagnosis of Autism or ASD, a $25.00 registration fee and a $250.00 enrollment fee to the Academy for consideration.

The registration fee is non-refundable. The enrollment fee is refundable if either your child's team determines that our Academy is not best suited to his/her needs or if your family decides that your child will not attend the Academy within 30-days of his/her acceptance.

Please note: Parents must be prepared to commit to attending four parent-related functions and to provide 20 hours of volunteer time to the school for each academic year. Parents may choose to "cash out" the volunteer hours at a rate of $10.00 per hour.
